A retail program built around independent Japanese brands needed to sell through one storefront without drowning in operations. LUMEN designed and shipped the full commerce infrastructure: self-serve brand onboarding, a quality-control and pricing-governance gate, unified storefront sync, and an automated consignment ledger — bilingual, in production.
Every product submission moves through a quality-control queue with pricing authority held at the center: retail price is proposed by the brand, approved or overridden at review, and every decision is written to an audit trail.
Independent brands register products, SKUs, materials, and cross-border metadata through a guided bilingual interface. Pricing is structural: brands set MSRP and an agreed rate, and their payout is derived — never hand-edited.
Per-sale payable entries, refund clawbacks, reserve windows, and monthly payout schedules are computed automatically. Brands see what they are owed and when it pays out — without a spreadsheet in sight.
